Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
High Bar Firm Consulting (“High Bar,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit highbarfirmconsulting.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The service area you are interested in
- Any message you include
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, prevent abuse, and understand overall Site traffic.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations
- Provide, manage, and follow up on consulting services you request
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including detecting spam and fraudulent submissions
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to marketing email lists without your permission.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted providers to run the Site and handle inquiries, including Cloudflare (website hosting and security) and Google (secure storage of form submissions and email notifications). Our website developer, who maintains the Site on our behalf, may also have access to form submissions to support its operation. These parties may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If High Bar is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
Cookies and Tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or tracking pixels, and we do not track you across other websites. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that counts page visits in aggregate without using cookies or identifying individual visitors. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site against bots and attacks; these do not identify you personally and are not used for advertising.
To display the Site, your browser loads fonts and style resources from third-party providers (such as Google Fonts). These providers receive standard technical information, such as your IP address, as part of delivering that content. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy.
Because we do not track you across websites, the Site does not change its behavior in response to “Do Not Track” signals. We honor Global Privacy Control signals to the extent applicable law requires.
Please Do Not Send Confidential Information
Submitting our contact form or emailing us does not create an attorney-client, consulting, or other confidential relationship. Please do not include privileged, confidential, or sensitive information about your firm’s clients or matters in your initial inquiry. We will discuss appropriate confidentiality terms before any engagement begins.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence only as long as needed to respond to you, provide services you request, maintain reasonable business records, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and access controls on the systems that store form submissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request that we correct or update your information
- Request that we delete your information
- Ask us to stop contacting you
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and as required by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, email us at the address below.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for legal professionals and businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
The Site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. Changes take effect when posted.
